Silestone Repair: Fixing Chips and Surface Damage on Silestone Quartz

Silestone is one of the leading engineered quartz worktop brands in the UK and worldwide, manufactured by Cosentino. Available in a huge range of colours and textures — including N-Boost enhanced surfaces and bacteriostatic properties — Silestone worktops are premium products. When chip or surface damage occurs, professional repair is almost always the best approach.

Silestone Chip Repair

Like all engineered quartz, Silestone is highly resistant to scratches but brittle under concentrated impact — particularly at edges, near hob cutouts and sink apertures. Chips in Silestone can be repaired professionally using specialist quartz repair compounds colour-matched to the specific Silestone colourway. Silestone’s wide range includes many distinctive colours (Eternal Calacatta Gold, Blanco Stellar, Cemento Spa and many others) and accurate colour-matching is important.

N-Boost Surface Silestone

Silestone’s newer N-Boost enhanced surfaces have a distinctive deep, matte texture and intense colour saturation. Repairs on N-Boost surfaces require careful matching of both colour and surface texture — this is more demanding than on standard polished Silestone and requires an experienced technician.

Silestone Warranty and Accidental Damage

Cosentino offers a 25-year manufacturer’s warranty on Silestone, but this covers manufacturing defects, not accidental damage such as chips from impact. For accidental damage, professional repair is the appropriate route.
