Getting Multiple Repairs Done in One Visit: How to Plan Your Surface Repair Appointment

If you have multiple pieces of surface damage across your kitchen and bathroom — a chipped worktop, a scratched bath, a cracked tile — it often makes sense to address all of them in a single visit. Understanding how to plan a combined repair appointment maximises value and minimises disruption.

Can Multiple Surface Types Be Repaired in One Visit?

Yes. Our technicians carry materials and equipment for a wide range of surface types — stone, solid surface, ceramic, acrylic and enamel — and can address different materials in a single appointment. A visit covering a granite chip, an acrylic bath scratch and two tile chips is entirely achievable in a standard appointment window.

How Long Does a Combined Visit Take?

Each repair adds time to the appointment. A single chip in a granite worktop takes 1–2 hours. Adding a bath chip repair and two tile chips might extend the appointment to 3–4 hours. We’ll give you a time estimate when we quote, based on the repairs required.

Preparing for a Multi-Repair Visit

  • Clear the worktop and the area around each damaged surface
  • Ensure all areas are accessible — move appliances or furniture blocking access if needed
  • Note all damage you want addressed — it’s easy to forget a small chip until after the technician leaves
  • Make sure the room is at a normal indoor temperature — very cold surfaces affect compound curing times

Sending Photos in Advance

When requesting a combined quote, send photos of each damaged area. This lets us assess accurately, ensure we bring the right materials and give you a reliable time estimate for the appointment.
