We support main contractors, sub-contractors and fit-out teams with rapid on-site surface repairs throughout the build and pre-handover phases. Our technicians close snagging lists quickly – repairing chips, scratches, burns and impact damage across a wide range of materials and finishes.

What we repair on site

Doors & Frames

Chips, scuffs and impact damage from material handling, repaired in situ within hours to avoid replacement and programme delays.

Plaster & Render

Cracking and impact damage patched and blended into the surrounding surface to support practical completion sign-off and client inspections.

Joinery & Fitted Furniture

On-site colour and texture matching to avoid costly replacement of fitted units and second-fix joinery.

Worktops

Surface damage from trades working overhead, colour matched and refinished to manufacturer standard on site.

Floors

Scratches, chips and impact damage across hardwood, LVT, laminate, ceramic and stone finishes.

Skirtings & Trim

Knocks and scratches picked up during fit-out, filled, sprayed and blended back to the original finish.

Accreditations and site compliance

Most main contractors need the paperwork before they need the repair. We hold the accreditations and cards required to work on a live construction site, and we can issue documentation before mobilisation rather than on the day.

  • Constructionline Gold — third-party pre-qualification already in place, which covers most of what a PQQ asks for
  • CSCS carded operatives
  • IPAF and PASMA — powered access and mobile tower trained, for work at height on stairwells, atria and high-level finishes
  • SSSTS / SMSTS site supervision and management certification
  • Fully insured — certificates available on request for your records

RAMS and COSHH documentation

We produce a task-specific risk assessment and method statement for each job, with COSHH assessments for the products being used, rather than a generic template with the site name changed. If your principal contractor needs them reviewed before access is granted, ask at quotation stage and we will issue them with the quote.

Working on a live or occupied site

Repairs on a construction programme rarely happen in an empty building. We work around other trades, in occupied buildings and outside normal hours where the programme demands it.

  • Phased working so completed areas can be handed over while the rest of the site continues
  • Dust and overspray containment, with adjacent finishes masked and protected
  • Out-of-hours and weekend attendance for occupied commercial premises
  • Low-odour products where a building is in use
  • One technician, one visit — most repairs are completed on site in a single attendance with no rip-out and no replacement lead time

Where we fit in your programme

Surface repair is usually needed at two points: when another trade damages a finished surface mid-programme, and again at handover when the snagging list is issued. We cover both.

We will tell you when a repair is not the right answer. Some damage is beyond a cosmetic repair, and on those we will say so rather than take the job — it is cheaper for everyone than a repair that has to be redone before handover.

Construction Surface Repair FAQs

Can you quote from photos?

Yes – send us a few photos and we will reply quickly with honest advice and a price, without an initial site visit.

Do you work nationwide?

Yes. We cover construction sites throughout the UK and can typically mobilise within 24–48 hours for urgent snagging.

What materials do you work on?

We work across all common construction surfaces including plaster, timber, MDF, laminates, ceramics, stone and painted finishes.
